BEN HODSON




As an artist Ben works with Photography, video, installation, performance and collage. Ben recently exhibited in the Ismail Khayat Gallery in Iraq, being one of the first British artists to exhibit in this region since the war.  It is part of the project: Iraq - A Changing Heart.​ While in Iraq, Ben orchestrated a dramatic reenactment of a peace project from 2000, by painting the side of a mountain in Iraq with the artist Ismail Khayat.​

Ben primarily works in London, Luton and the home counties and has received commissions from all over the UK, central Europe and the Middle East.  Ben has exhibited widely in both group and solo shows.  This includes: The Houses of Parliament, PhotoFusion in London, the LPA gallery space, the Hat Factory, the Gateway Gallery.  He has work on permanent display in the United Nations head quarters in New York. Ben works as a film/art director, curator, project manager and designer. Furthermore he lectures on Visual Communication in the Art & Design department for the University of Bedfordshire.
